Samara Studio is a collective of creators and thinkers helping purpose-driven organisations reach new audiences. Their work spans branding, events, digital campaigns, and storytelling — all with a focus on people and planet over product and profit.
When founder David approached me, the collective already had strong brand foundations and a clear vision. My role was to translate that vision into a sleek, functional Squarespace website that showcased their ethos, team, and creative work in a way that felt both strategic and inspiring.

With David’s creative direction in place, my role was to translate his vision into a polished website that also worked as a sustainable tool for the team. I focused on collaboration and systems that would keep the site easy to update long-term.

Styling System & Reusable Templates: Created a hidden style guide page to document typography, colours, and layouts, plus reusable section templates so new content could be added without breaking design consistency.
Interactive Landing Page: Sourced, recommended, and installed custom CSS plugins to elevate the landing page carousel with subtle motion and portfolio linking.
Squarespace Build & Setup: Connected the domain, structured navigation and hierarchy, set up lateral scrolling galleries, video sections, and interactive team bios. Optimised copy and image fields with SEO best practices.
Collaboration in Figma: Mapped and designed all pages in Figma before build, allowing for efficient feedback and a smooth Squarespace handover.

The final website reflects the clean, minimal aesthetic David had in mind, enhanced with subtle motion and interactive elements that bring the brand to life. With reusable templates and a hidden style guide, the Samara team can confidently add new projects, people, and content while staying on-brand. The result is a professional showcase that balances polish with practicality, supporting both current and future needs.
